Kudos to Askable who seem to have cracked good service-design for user research platforms. In the past I've found qualitative research platforms to be a bit fragmented in quality and limited in scope. Askable seem to have addressed this. Which is awesome in removing the barriers to user-centred-design.

Kudos to banks with 'gambling block' services - allowing you to block or limit spending on impulsive, addictive services. It seems most banks offer this now, but special kudos to Monzo who was the first. This is a good example where friction is desirable in the service.
Kudos to HSBC, who have partnered with Shelter to provide special bank accounts for people with no fixed address. Having no fixed address can prevent people applying for jobs, benefits, and paying rent. It's a viscous loop, affecting around 300,000 adults in the UK according to Shelter.
