Accessible bank cards

Kudos to the banks who make their cards fit for visually impaired people (Kudos, because it's a Service Design choice... it's not a legal requirement yet).

Have a look at your bank cards. Do they have:

  • Braille or notches - to distinguishing debit, credit, pre-paid cards
  • A cut-out or bold arrow - to denote which way to insert the card
  • Larger text and improved colour contrast - for readability

Top marks for HSBC, Nationwide, Royal Bank of Scotland, Natwest, Monzo, and Mastercard. Does yours?
